Coir Rope

• A rope is a group of fibers that are twisted or braided together into a larger and stronger form.
• The Coir rope is of different qualities/grades based on the quality of fibre used, the nature of twist, presence of impurities etc. Available in different forms like hydraulically pressed bales, spools bobbins, dholls, balls etc. cut length for various industrial and agricultural purposes.
• Ropes have tensile strength and so can be used for dragging and lifting. It is thicker and stronger than similarly constructed cord, string, and twine.
• Rope is of paramount importance in fields as diverse as construction, seafaring, exploration, sports, theatre, and communications, and has been used since prehistoric times.
• Rope may be constructed of any long, stringy, fibrous material, but generally is constructed of certain natural fibres.
• To fasten rope, many types of knots have been invented for countless uses.
